South Umpqua came out with a new look against the Crusaders who struggled to find opportunities on offense. After dropping the first two sets, sophomore Jessi Traynor led the fight back into the match, serving 3 aces to start the third set. Traynor served 17 for 18 with 3 aces for the match. On offense, junior Abbie Christman led the team with a season high of 11 kills while senior Natalie Thickett added 8. Senior Grace Johnson led the team on defense with 21 digs, rolled closely by Traynor and Thicket with 19 and 17 respectively. Senior Ashley Gurr had 27 assists for the night.
