In a rematch of Thursday night and the last match of the day, the Crusaders were led by sophomore Albie Borovansky. Borovansky provided the much needed energy, serving 21 for 22 with a team high of 6 aces. She also contributed 14 digs for the match. In the third set, the Crusaders led 18-17 until the Lancers went on a 5 point streak, eventually closing out the set. In set 4, the Crusaders battled back and forth for the lead with the Lancers, long rallies ensued. Behind senior Lucy Palmer’s serving, the Crusaders were able to solidify the lead, never relinquishing it. Palmer served points 7 through 13, giving the Crusaders a 13-9 lead. Senior Abbie Christman hit 18 for 19 with 7 kills for the match while sophomore Kelsey Dunn added 8 kills. Sophomore Kaitlyn Hansen had 18 assists for the match.
