Crusaders News · Crusaders Cruise to tri-meet wins

Congratulations to the Crusader boys and girls for their victories in a triangular  meet with SD-4 rivals  Sutherlin and Cascade Christian. The last time the Crusader girls and the Sutherlin girls met was at the 2019 3A state championship meet, where the Crusaders were first (79) and the Bulldogs were second (63). Things turned out quite similar today with the St. Mary’s girls winning 63-42. Crosstown rival, Cascade Christian was third with 40 points.

On the boys side of things, St. Mary’s won with 74 points over Sutherlin (43) and Cascade Christian (39).
The Crusader boys had nine first place finishes out of the 16 events contested. They won six of the ten track events and four of the seven field events
The Crusader girls had ten first place finishes of the 17 events contested. Crusaders girls won nine of the 10 track events.
Crusader boys and girls won both of the two relays (4×100 and 4×400) with the girls times establishing 3A state leading times.
Jensyn Ford (200m & 400m), Mackenzie Walker (300m hurdles & PV), and Will Kranenberg (LJ & TJ) each won two individual events. Jensyn and Mackenzie were also on both victorious relay teams.
