The combined St. Mary’s/Sacred Heart Middle School Baseball team completed its season Sunday, finishing with a 7-7 record. The team rostered 17 players from 6th through 8th grade, all of whom made contributions to the team’s success. Some of the highlights included an opening game win over rival Cascade Christian and a Mother’s Day double-header sweep of North Valley. Over the course of the season the Middle School ballplayers became a tight knit team as their baseball skills grew exponentially. Their success shows that the future is bright for St. Mary’s Baseball.
