St. Mary’s – The St. Mary’s Middle School Track team welcomed back the 8th graders this week and were able to produce some outstanding performances on the home track.  On the boys side, 8th grader Nathan Sternenberg led the way in both the sprints and the high jump with individual wins in the 100, 200, HJ and anchored the winning 4×100 team of Will Clement, Matthew Wyant, and Lance Parrish.  Brycen Beck had a personal best in winning the 400 in a time of 1:08.42.  Not to be outdone the distance runners swept the 800 (Riley Gramley, 2:43.84, Owen Gramley, 2:45.73, and Will Kranenburg, 2:46.1) and flipped that in the 1500 (Kranenburg, 5:29.63, O. Gramley, 5:33.20, R. Gramley, 5:40.07)
