Salem – Coming off a tough loss to a scrappy Roseburg team at home, the St. Mary’s boys Lacrosse team went on the road to face West Salem and came home with a hard earned win.  A stout defensive effort and solid play in goal by freshman Evan Rudisile helped support aggressive play on offense, which produced an 8 goals.  Cade Thomas led the way with a hat-trick (3 goals), followed by Ryan Pitcher with 2, Preston Jernigan 1, Garrett Arman 1, and Alex Finch 1.  The Crusaders finished the game with a 53% on goal percentage scoring 8 on only 15 shots.  For his play in goal Rudisile was given the game ball.

The Crusaders will next be in action at home on April 22nd, with the first face-off scheduled for noon at US Cellular Field.
