Boys Basketball Wins Key Game in Double Overtime

ST. MARY’S 67, LAKEVIEW 65, 2OT: At Lakeview, St. Mary’s Bryce Bramscher scored the game-tying layup in overtime as time expired to send the game to double-overtime. In the second OT, the Crusaders outscored Lakeview 10-8 to earn a Southern Cascade League win.

Joe Johnson and Gavin Rajagopal exploded for 20 points apiece and Johnson added 11 boards for St. Mary’s (9-11, 4-2 SCL). Bramscher finished with eight points and nine rebounds and Travis Danielson added a double-double with 10 points and 12 boards for the Crusaders.

Derrick Dunn scored 22 points and Jalen Lampman scored 21 points for the Honkers (8-13, 2-4).

ST. MARY’S (67): Johnson 20, Rajgopal 20, Danielson 10, Mayer 9, Bramscher 8, Dexter 0, Grant 0, Silsbee 0, Bowling 0. Totals: 24 13-28 67.
