Game Recap

At USCCP, the Crusaders scored four first half goals and added six more in the second half to top visiting Rogue River and wrapped up the first half of the league season with a convincing performance. Junior Maddie Wheelock opened the scoring and added three assists. Fellow juniors Gabi Castillo and Meghan Michels each earned hat tricks while Ibixica Alvarez had a goal and assist and McKenna Christman added two assists. Also getting in on the scoring and earning their first tallies of the year were senior Adrien Birmingham and sophomores Riley Kruel and Isabel Aragon. Birmingham added an assist as did freshman Ainsley Gibbs before the match was over.

Birmingham and sophomore Zoe Alftine shared goalkeeping duties and the shutout for St. Mary’s.

Saturday at noon the Crusaders will host Lakeview at USCCP in the second match-up of the year.
